Here are some photos of the first Star Trek: Phoenix rehearsal on an actual set. Yeah, I know it doesn’t look done, but you should see it now!
So in most of the scenes, I’m working the Transporter System. All I can say is that it’s holographic, so I get to press imaginary buttons and act like I’m actually doing something.
I’ve done some silly holographic interactions before:

However, it’s different this time. With a Star Trek series, I need to be more consistent with the way the system works. I have to practice muscle memory to remember where the buttons are, how they move and how far apart they are. Here are some photos of the rehearsal.
I will be on set this whole upcoming weekend and I’m excited to work with friends again.
